Research opportunities as an undergrad?
I'm really interested in cognitive neuroscience research but I'm not sure how to get started. Should I cold email professors? What should I include in my email? Do I need prior research experience to get started? Would love to hear from anyone who's been through this process.

I cold emailed 15 professors and got 3 responses. Be specific about why you want to work with them and mention a recent paper of theirs you read. Show genuine interest!
Also check if your department has a research fair or directory of labs looking for undergrads. That's how I got started!
